Well, it seems that there has been a long delay of updates. Something that I can no longer fix being myself fixed in time, but I can certainly stop the pause from getting longer. So… About the project status. It hasn’t been too good. H1N1 or something took over the developers nose and throat for almost 1.5 weeks. There have been some advancements, but nothing major.

Ahh… The beauty of network programming… Remember that it’s okay for recvfrom to return SOCKET_ERROR in case of non-blocking sockets. This error is not an error (usually). Didn’t remember it myself and just spent several hours trying to see what’s wrong with things.
Anyway, wanted to let you know that the project is still on schedule. I’ll be uploading a project status update later tonight.
EDIT: Failed to post project update due to network problems…
Hi, I told there is no long waiting. Really, this project is going smooeeethly.
Some people have written me asking what this project is about. Let me tell you, if not the greatest, it is certainly one of the most interesting and weirdest (in a good way) of software projects since well… pick any of your favorite software products.
The development is going well, there is a large amount of features being implemented and unit-tested as they are getting ready. There have been no major catastrophes. While there is still a lot of programming to be done, I think there is no need to worry. We’ll be on schedule.
I’ve also created a small poll to see how others feel about this project, please take your time to think about the answer:
Hello there! I suppose I could have updated first post, but… I just felt so excited about how this project is coming along. I’ll start posting screenshots about how this project is going and what is yet to do. Here is the current project status (had to cut it smaller because WordPress didn’t like the detailed and big image…):
I hope you are all looking forward for updates. For those who are eagerly waiting for the finished software, don’t worry, it’ll be there sooner than you wish.
What would be a better title for first post about a truly magnificent software project? As the project codename says, the project itself is a secret. This blog exists to give information about how well the project is going and about its major updates. Perhaps when there is time I’ll also post a timetable and approximated time of readiness.
